Feed-Forward

Feedforward neural networks are composed of layers of neurons, in which the output of each layer of neurons are connected to the input layer of next layer.

Feed-forward Networks have become increasingly popular in feature recognition and function mapping (approximation) problems in a wide area of applications.
Because of commonly used learning algorithm this type of networks are sometimes referred to as back-propagation or BPN.
